Set at an elevation of 2200 meters above sea level, Munsiyari is a
popular hill station located in the Kumaon Himalayas in the Pithoragarh
district of Uttarakhand. One among the list of newly discovered hill

legends a Yaksha used to like in this small lake. The Yaksha fell in
